Inventory #1768 - Original Western Electric 151AL antisidetone dial desk stand, equipped with an original #5 dial and 150B “municipal” porcelain number plate, an original 323 solid back transmitter with new mouthpiece, and an original 144 receiver with new receiver cap. The brand new brown cloth cords are identical to the originals.
As is the case with all of our telephones, this beauty was completely dismantled and all exterior surfaces were stripped, cleaned and refinished in two baked-on coats of black enamel paint, just like they did it at the factory. The bakelite receiver shell was carefully cleaned and buffed to a like-new shine. Then each piece of this telephone was reassembled with every machine screw, washer and nut replaced in their original positions. The base cover is from a manual desk stand and is covered with new felt.
The subscriber set (Inv. #1890) consists of a 302 chassis and new replacement plastic cover, which was designed and manufactured by TelephoneCreations specifically to accommodate the base of a 302 to function as a 684 subset. Inventory #1882 – North Electric in Galion, Ohio manufactured their own version of the 302 back in the 1940s and 1950s. The Western Electric F1 handset and most of the components were from Western Electric, but the dial is Automatic Electric. The insides are original but the housing in an aftermarket shell manufactured in the 1960s. We completely disassembled the entire telephone. The handset and housing were refinished in two coats of bright red lacquer and then clear coated. We added a new red cloth handset cord and a new cloth-covered modular line cord for easy connection to your telephone service. Inventory #1879 – Original Western Electric D1 ("202") oval base dial desk telephone with subset. This telephone and handset were completely disassembled, stripped, cleaned and refinished in two baked-on coats of an elegant shade of burgundy enamel paint. The F1 handset is equipped with the newer F1 transmitter and HA1 receiver elements for superior voice transmission and reception. The 6A dial dated III-53 has an excellent P340016 porcelain number plate. All parts on this telephone are original, except for the new brown cloth mounting cord and the Western Electric H4DU handset cord that has been modified for this particular telephone.

Inventory #1076 – Original Western Electric D1 ("202") oval base dial desk telephone with subset. The earlier (and lighter) aluminum alloy base is dated I-32. The original finish on the base, cradle and plunger is in exceptionally nice condition so we left it alone. There is very minor wear to the finish on one small area along the back edge – that’s it.
The dial fingerwheel and number card frame were stripped and refinished in two baked-on coats of black enamel paint. The perfect F1 handset was disassembled, cleaned and polished to a like-new shine. The 6A dial has an excellent 164A porcelain number plate. Except for the new brown cloth cords, all parts of this telephone are original, including the leather base pad.
