Our cloth cords are manufactured in the original style, in all standard original lengths, but any length can be provided. Each individual spade-tipped lead is cut to the exact length as found on the original Western Electric cord.
Receiver cords: 2’ 6” brown or green cloth – for OST & closed term. - $15.00
Handset cords: 4’ brown cloth – for E and F style handsets - $16.00

Our wiring harnesses are exact duplicates of the original harnesses,
with the leads at each end cut to the same lengths as the originals.

Felt Base Pads

Our base pads are of heavy brown felt stock, carefully fitted onto the original base covers,
with properly located and proportioned screw holes.
Felt Base Pads: For any Western Electric desk stand, A1, B1, or D1 telephone - $7.50 installed
We also stock excellent repro candlestick mouthpieces, receiver caps, and E1 handset "spitcup" mouthpieces. Inquire.

Except for repairs convered under our guarantee, we will no longer provide repair services on customer-owned telephones after July 1, 2008.
If requested, we will install cords (and any of the other parts that we sell) on customer-owned telephones for an additional $30 service charge.

All Wistful Vista telephones are guaranteed against operational failure due to defective parts. We will repair or replace any defective part free of charge within one (1) year of purchase. All of our telephones are compatible with most modern switching equipment. However, our guarantee does not cover operational failure on telephone services provided by cable TV, the Internet (VOIP), or on any telephone system that does not support pulse dialing.

TELEPHONE TREASURE
Western Electric's A3, a party-line telephone that was factory configured with an extra set of contacts for tip party identification, is an even rarer sub-variety of the scarce A1 telephone.
When we acquired this telephone, it had been stripped of its original finish. We dismantled and cleaned it. All exterior metal surfaces were refinished in two baked-on coats of black enamel paint. The 2HB dial was completely disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt. The E1 handset was dismantled, thoroughly cleaned and polished. The original wool felt base cover was perfect so we left it alone. We added new brown cloth handset and mounting cords.
This restoration is a perfect example of the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each and every one of the classic telephones that we sell. We do it right.
